Based in Seoul Korea, this position will be responsible for developing and implementing account specific business plans; achieving account profitability and sales targets; serving as the primary account contact and providing account leadership for assigned channel accounts in Korea. The focus of this opportunity will be national and regional retail accounts in the areas of consumer electronics, mass market, and sporting goods/fitness. This individual will also be responsible for identifying and closing new channels and partners, where appropriate.
The Successful Applicant
The Job responsibility includes:
Develop account strategies in accordance with overall channel strategy
Develop business plans covering unit volume, revenue, market share, product mix, and channel marketing plans
Drive sell in, sell thru and manage inventory levels with key accounts
Conduct regular reviews of business performance
Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to develop new item launch strategy and account specific channel marketing programs to increase shelf space and drive sell thru
Identify new opportunities for channel development and implement market penetration sales activities
Manage collaborative planning efforts with key accounts to drive accurate account forecasts and maximize our operational efficiencies with each account.
Manage MDF and promotional budgets for each account
The ideal candidate should be:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
A minimum of 7 years of sales and marketing experience managing national and regional retail accounts
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales, profitability, and budget goals
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders at the customer level and internall
High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player
Proven ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally within company and the customer
