About Our Client

*Broad objectives of the roleThe role is within the Training Team, which is part of HOST Global Banking and Markets IT division, providing IT solutions and support for businesses.
eShare - a Document Management System
Deal Pipeline - a global system which records deal information, status, fees and progress.
Attribution System - this system is used by senior bankers / COOs to attribution credit / bonus information to each deal and key people who work on it.
Holiday Booker - Is a system used to track staff holidays and absence.
Client MI systems - We have developed and support a number of Management information systems that provide the business with the require MI to manage the Client relationships and profitability / performance metrics which are currently being rolled out globally.
Office 2013 - The group is currently using Office 2010 but will gradually roll out Office 2013 in 2016.
Microsoft Outlook - the group is currently using Lotus Notes and will gradually convert over to MS Outlook during 2016. Advanced knowledge of Outlook would be advantagous.
TRS - a Time Recording System used globally. General users complete eLearning, however, TRS Administrators require training.
GRAS - Global Revenue Analysis System used by Finance Officers to reconcile fees.
*To deliver training on the above systems via the following methods:
- Web-ex (a Web Conferencing Tool) for groups of users outside of London
- Web-ex sessions on a 1:1 basis to provide extra training
- The role may occasionally have a requirement for overseas travel.
*Ability to communicate and work with Business Analysts, Developers and User Representatives to develop effective IT training courses and learning materials for the business areas.
*Training administration including course scheduling / maintaining attendance and training evaluation records
*Participate in User acceptance testing of in-house developed applications, intranets and related intranet content management systems
*Building excellent working relationships with the business to promote the Training team services and help identify training requirements.
*Provide telephone/desktop support for applications post-training
*Provide advice and guidance to the BAST (Business Application Support Team) who provide 1st line support to the business users
The Successful Applicant
Additional Essential Experience
*Document Management Systems training delivery (IBM Filenet preferred but will consider other systems such as Documentum)
*eLearning course development (e.g. Adobe Captivate, HTML and Robohelp) - not just the knowledge of hour these packages work, but experience of writing / designing courses from scratch as scripts ARE NOT provided.
*Microsoft Office 2010 / 2013
*Investment Banking knowledge
*Experience of developing and presenting training courses for one-to-one and group sessions
*Extensive experience of providing distance training using web conferencing tools
*Exposure to training users on-site as part of a global rollout
*Floorwalking - desk side assistance
*Exposure to software development lifecycle, particularly design, user acceptance testing and deployment/rollout phases
*Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
*Native English - the ability to speak clearly and write English is of the utmost importance for this role.
*Experience of working with new / bespoke systems, and able to design training courses and create material from scratch.
*Carry out TNA, working with developers and stakenholders to ensure that the right solution is delivered to the end users.
*Follow up after training to gain feedback and continue to adjust / improve the courses
*Strong organisational and planning skills
*Excellent time management and prioritisation of work tasks
*Working with demanding business users in a pressurised environment
*Working to tight deadlines with minimal supervision
*M&A/Advisory, Equity/Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Acquisition Finance, Debt Capital Markets, Project Export Finance business knowledge would be an advantage
*Revenue MI Analysis & Reporting systems knowledge
*Training Needs Analysis
*IT application support (e.g. Helpdesk)
*MCT (MS Certified Trainer)qualification or equivalent
*TAP Certified (training design& delivery, blended training, eLearning)
