1-IT OPERATIONAL SUPPORT WITH 3rd PARTY IT SUPPLIER
*Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
*Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
*Monitoring and maintaining printers, telephone and other IT hardware.
*Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting of local infrastructure.
*Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
*Help Desk Administration
*Apply new users' accounts and profiles via US IT helpdesk and dealing with password issues.
*Asset Management. Assets, such as computers, monitors, NAS etc. registration, counting and administration to ensure that company assets are maintained appropriately.
*Replacing parts as required.
*Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the local level.
*Holds regular status meetings with 3rd party agent, US IT team to ensure effective communication and monitoring of IT function progress
*Keeps China team well informed of IT changes.
*Suggests areas for improvement in IT internal processes along with possible solutions.
*Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
*Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for all China offices.
*Provide broad functional knowledge of key ERP business modules
*Work with a team of technology professionals through technology lifecycle, including requirements system design, configuration and testing
*Provide gap / benchmark analysis on ERP systems practices for business requirements
*Ensure work in progress is monitored and controlled, and ERP tasks are on a timely track
*Have ability to spot and exploit ERP requirements for business operational process enhancement
*Plan and allocate internal and external resources to fulfill ERP implementation business requirements
*Set objectives with the project team and provide support and coaching to junior users
*Assist line manager in general business development in ERP system
*Assist line manager in retaining project management responsibility during whole ERP implementation period
*Assist line manager in other ERP ad-hoc business requirements
The Successful Applicant
*Minimum of five years' progressive work experience in a technical support role and experience working with computer systems and applications
*Strong knowledge and experience of ERP systems, AX system experience preferred
*Working experience and solid technical / working knowledge of ERP SD/PP/MM/QM/APO applications in business operations, corporate strategy or IT for at least one major package
*Project management skills, experience in leading some implementation projects preferred
*Effective organizational, analytical, problem solving, time management, interpersonal and communication skills
*Advanced PC/laptop software knowledge and skills, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting.
*Ability to solve problems. Broad base of technical skills to clearly diagnose and solve problems relating to hardware and software issues.
*Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to quickly adjust priorities and the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
*Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work as a team player.
*Ability to work independently and under pressure
*Able to work with team members who have different backgrounds and experience
*Fluent English both in oral and written;
*Patient, enthusiasm and quick-response capability.
