About Our Client
a.Installation and implementing the new ERP system
i.Plan and coordinate with the vendor of the new ERP software for system set-up, take part in the new ERP training on all modules with the objective to be the in-house trainer and consultant.
ii.Close follow up on the implementation process on all modules including constant reviewing the progress and testing of the data for accuracy and feedback from users.
iii.Ensure the new ERP implementation is according to approved timeline and CAPEX.
b.Manage IT and computer systems
i.Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and EDP.
ii.Develop and implement policies and procedures for EDP and computer system operations and development.
iii.Meet with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
iv.Hire and manage information system personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systems.
v.Control the computer system budgets and expenditures.
c.Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.
i.Trouble shoot hardware, software and network operating system
ii.Be familiar with all hardware and software.
iii.Be familiar with network operating system.
iv.Provide orientation to new users of existing technology.
v.Train staff about new and potential use.
vi.Provide individual training support on request.
vii.Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.
viii.Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware and software.
ix.Ensure all the software installed in all hardware are genuine and licensed
x.Ensure effective and updated anti-virus, anti-spy ware etc are installed in servers and computers.
xi.Ensure effective daily, weekly, monthly and yearly back-up of ERP data both on-site and off-site.
xii.Review and evaluate all purchase of hardware and software.
d.Monitor and maintain technology to ensure maximum access
i.Trouble shoot all IT issues.
ii.Maintain log and /or list of required repairs and maintenance.
iii.Research current and potential resources and services.
iv.Provide network access to all staff.
v.Install work stations.
vi.Connect and set-up hardware.
vii.Load all required licensed software.
viii.Periodic audit to ensure no illegal software installed in any workstation.
ix.Provide network accounts and passwords as required.
x.Monitor security of our IT system.
xi.Input and maintain IP addresses.
xii.Advise staff of security breach and/or change in password or security status.
xiii.Ensure installation of lock-out programs especially the ERP system.
xiv.Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate.
xv.Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal i.e. to ensure confidential data is not leaked.
e.Perform other related duties as required.
i.Travel to other factories, branches and shops for installation, implementation, training, trouble-shooting etc.
ii.Write Crystal Reports for customized reports requested by users or engage out-sourced consultant for the customized reporting subject to management approval.

6.Qualification and experience
a.Degree from reputable university or institute of higher learning in related IT fields.
b.1 - 2 year experience in similar job functions.
