About Our Client
World leading logistics business with strong global and local business presence
*Conduct and provide in-depth market review on target industry in various cities/markets, including competition and what/how key competitors are playing in East China Cluster;
*Identify existing and potential obstacles/problems to come up with innovative solutions that are commercial viable and take an active role in selling and executing these to help develop target industry business;
*Contribute with candid, direct and honest inputs, suggestions and feedback to strategy and management decisions on target industry client development;
*Lead and drive sales/business development in target industry across various cities/markets in East China Cluster;
*Develop and follow up with new, potential key target industry customers emerging in East China Cluster;
*Keep a track of major projects and ensure successful execution;
*Assist in working on all the major target industry client tenders and implementations;
*Coach and develop local sales' competencies and capabilities on target industry knowledge/information/trends and etc.;
*Act as focal point for instructing and guiding local sales to answer questions/inquiries from industry key clients that are commercially/business related;
*Assist in hiring local sales in conjunction with relevant Sales Managers and setting up sales pipelines for future growth.
The Successful Applicant
*A business/commercially acute, and market/customer oriented professional;
*8 years above extensive knowledge and experience in shipping & logistics industry
*At least 5 years Business Development / Sales experience
*Solid target industry experience
*Knowledge and network in East China markets
*Fluent in Mandarin, and English
*Aggressive, Passionate, Result driven and has "can-do" attitude
*Confident negotiator and ability to 'close the deal'
*Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions
*A positive and determined approach to researching and analyzing new business opportunities
*Excellent communication/interpersonal skills;
*Project Cargo and Prior Procurement experience preferable
*Travel is essential for this position
