About Our Client
Global leading travel solution management provider with business presence and partners in more than 70 countries.
To lead the China business, and ensuring the comprehensive fulfillment of strategy for the country. Additionally, you will ensure the profitable growth of all operations and direct and lead the China management team, ensuring all growth & profit targets are met.
Design and execute business plan and growth strategies to deliver strong business and market share growth in China.
Execute strategies of sales, advertising, innovative product, pricing, customer experience, client service level and sales to drive top line growth, profitability and brand awareness of the China Brand/Area.
Own and deploy the attributes and value proposition of the Brand and all regions in China to create a unique positioning in the market.
Deploy global brand standards and one-best-way systems that optimise customer experience and operational productivity.
Build effective relationships with suppliers and clients at all levels and from different cultural backgrounds.
Establishing clear systems and processes to drive productivity and profitability in our front end businesses.
Creating a Brightness of Future (BOF) and career development plan for our people. Effectively lead, coach and develop leaders and plan for future leadership requirements.
Assisting in management of regulatory issues and licensing issues.
Liaise with all internal businesses (Peopleworks, Finance, Technology) and regional/global teams to ensure the appropriate level of support is being provided to meet the needs of your China Brand/Area.
Active involvement in all aspects of strategy execution, business planning, operations, sales & account management, people development and performance management.
Motivate and inspire by creating an exciting growth story & business plan, sharing successes in newsletters and running effective Buzz Nights and SWOT meetings.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum 7 years leadership and management experience with a proven track record (i.e. demonstrated improvement in results, profitability and staff retention) in a multinational or international company
Travel industry experience and knowledge essential and corporate travel or TMC experience a distinct advantage
Strong Mandarin and English language skills (read, written and verbal) is essential
