About Our Client
Our client is one of the most famous Kitchen & Bath brands in Europe with more than 70 years history worldwide. The company already has more than 15 years foundation in China. With an aggressive expansion plan, the brand is going to have a revolutionary change in China. We are looking for candidates who are strategic, business acumen, with the strong industry background and connections, able to drive and lead the business to another level.
*Develop a broad base distribution network for products by managing strong existing distribution network and further being the on-ground evaluate to recommend potential new dealers.
*Analyse and evaluate sales trends, sales potentials, competition, economic/business conditions and dealer. Recommend changes in sales programs and distribution to drive improvements in meeting sales volume targets.
*Prepare annual sales forecast for assigned national based on knowledge of sales trends, sales potential, competition and economic/business conditions as well as dealer's sales performance and share of market.
*Establish personal contact and maintain harmonious business relationship with dealers who are buying, exhibiting and/or selling products.
*Establish and maintain regular contact with sub-distributors, contractors, retailers, architects, specifies, designers, developers and key buying organisations to inform them of the advantages of our products and to motivate them to specify those products for their end customers. Advise dealers and potential customers on best products and options to buy or specify.
*Set the sales and marketing team structure, build up strong teams across the whole China
*Monitor, analyse and provide feedback on competitor activity, products, cost and related information advantageous to the company.
*Provide direction and training to dealers regarding merchandising policies, product selection, placement and display in order to maximise sales performance. Follow-up and management of dealers national wise to ensure they have all available sales collateral. Coordinate and conduct training for dealers concerning product and collection characteristics and options in order to optimise their product knowledge and ability to sell our products.
*Provide training and assist in resolving queries regarding sales programs, installation and after-sales service. Evaluate, document and provide information to determine the validity of defective product claim reports by dealers and end-use customers.
*Primary sales contact with regular visits to dealers in each market nationally with the frequency of such visits and the travel budget to be determined in agreement with sales management.
The Successful Applicant
*15+ years' experience in an international sales or General Management position with relevant industry background
*Proven success representing luxury brands, products and/or services with a strong preference for experience in the home furnishings industry.
*Must possess strong communication skills. Mature self-driven and results oriented. Must be willing to travel easily, effectively and frequently throughout the territory and develop effective and productive relationships in each of the diverse markets.
*Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an internationally recognised university with an MBA a plus.
*Languages: Strong Mandarin and English skills required, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese and other major regional languages would be considered a plus.
