About Our Client
Our Client is a Danish container manufacturing leader in the market. The factory in DG has over 2000 employees and also has a big finance team. They create an environment of trust where everybody feels free to contribute at their own best and offer unique possibilities for personal and professional development.
Currently they are looking for an experienced, professional head of multiple teams, including Finance, Accounting, Controlling and Import & Export in Dongguan.
1.Finance and Accounting
1)Develop and implement policies in line with company policies and core values;
2)Develop SOPs for the functions of the department and ensure there are always updated;
3)Authorizations, develop and maintain updated;
4)Follow up on investments;
6)VAT and taxes;
7)Ascertain funding requirements and solutions for same;
9)Stock takings, monthly and annually;
10)Maintain fixed asset register;
11)Propose actions that serve to improve the company's cash flow.
2.Company registration matters
1)Rules of Procedures for Board and Management;
3)Articles of Association.
3.Budgets and reporting
1)Prepare the budget in according to separate guidelines;
2)Monthly budget follow-up of budget vs. actual costs;
3)Reporting to management report and Hyperion;
4)Revise and update budget where necessary;
5)Undertake year end closings.
4.Bank arrangements and compliance
1)Negotiate and evaluate banking services in accordance with MCI Group instructions
2)Ensure compliance with regulations of Chinese authorities and risk management
3)Ensure supplier compliance as a minimum with national standards where required
4)Protect company interests: Engage and employ auditors as relevant to protect the interests of the company, to ensure all laws and regulations are complied with and to ensure compliance with Maersk Group and MCI Group policies;
5)Insurance: Propose and manage insurance programs to ensure that the company's assets and employees at all times are insured reasonably and economically.
6)Maintain and update the general risk register for the company;
7)Establish and maintain department risk management register.
5.Import and Export
1) Compliance with PRC regulations
2) Import & Export operation management;
3) Risk management;
4) ISO management compliance;
5) Participate in month-end closings;
6) Maintain and enhance usage of ERP system within own area's;
7) Maintain good relationship to relevant authorities;
6.Management of 15-25 employees;
The Successful Applicant
1.At least 8 years' relevant working experience within the CFO area;
2.At least 5 years' experience with people management;
3.Finance and accounting related certificate;
4.Finance and accounting related education background, bachelor degree or above;
5.Profound Chinese and English langue skills;
6.Independent and a self-starter, result orientated and loyal;
7.Detail orientated, critical analytical, and structured.
8.Flair for management.
