EHS Manager - Multinational Service / Facilities Company

About Our Client
My client is a Fortune 500 Third Party service company with HQ in USA. Specializing in Healthcare, food service and facilities management, they employ over 10,000 in globally with over 30 projects locally across China. They are currently looking for an EHS Manager to sit at their corporate level to establish their group strategy and systems to meet with global and location requirements and regulations.
*Provide for compliance assurance with clients, internal and regulatory requirements regarding environmental health and safety.
*Review and approve Job Hazard Analyses for defined critical tasks.
*Provide for emergency response leadership as defined by clients and group.
*Inspect vendor operations using prescribed protocols.
*Collaborate with internal on-site team to assure they operate their businesses in compliance with clients and internal requirements while on-site.
*Conduct EHS training as required.
*Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures assuring EHS compliance.
*Perform hazard assessments and evaluations, implement risk reduction/mitigation strategies as appropriate.
*Drive implementation of EHS initiatives regarding high risk activities such as Confined Space Entry, Electrical Safety, LO/TO and Elevated Work.
*Support or lead incident investigations including root cause analysis if required.
*Provide for EHS performance data contributing to internal safety & risk control performance dashboard.
*Assess and identify appropriate resources and equipment necessary to fully support EH&S objectives.
*Support global S&RC Leadership on projects related to areas of responsibility.
*Overall manage food safety and ensure the site practices complying with group standards.
The Successful Applicant
*A degree in occupational safety, safety management or relevant field; relevant professional certifications a plus.
*A minimum of five years of experience in the implementation and management of EHS programs and management systems, preferably within facility operations. EHS experience in facility service, research or maintenance operations is highly desirable.
*Proven track record of success executing high hazard prevention programs.
*A proven track record managing regulatory compliance.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a proven record in both interpersonal and negotiation skills.
