About Our Client
A truly global brand with offices around the world and products available in 177 countries. International headquarters are in Nottingham in the U.K.
Specifically, you will continuously review and enhance the site to improve the customer experience and sales (site performance) and be responsible for the integration and/or management of 3rd party technology providers.
You will review data analysis to identify site improvements and sales opportunities, campaign co-ordination and manage external agencies and stakeholders
You will be responsible for providing master data, product photography, copy, product descriptions and price books and develop the insight driven merchandising strategy and produce actionable analysis from analytical data to improve the performance of the digital commerce sites.
You will give clear direction on the marketing budget / spend on SEO / SEM and Paid search and review the visual merchandising of the products and product categories online, using sales data and visual merchandising guidelines.
You will be responsible for reporting on digital commerce site and marketing campaign performance, advise and recommend actions to improve conversion and overall performance and capitalize on trading opportunities based on consumer trends/insights.
In line with the above you will monitor on-site search activity and optimize search results to drive conversion and manage product cross sells using analytical data to drive incremental sales, supporting enhancement testing across desktop, mobile and tablet devices.
You will continuously suggest improvements for the website functionality and consumer journey in order to ultimately increase revenue and improve experience and work cross functionally across the business to make sure that the sites are optimized from a product, information, campaign and brand perspective.
The Successful Applicant
*Mandarin and English languages
*Knowledge of China ecommerce & market places
*Essential knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Omniture, or similar web analytics tools
*Can demonstrate good use of reports/analysis to plan actions and improvements
*Understands internet technologies and can use a wide range of software systems
*China ecommerce & online marketing experience in UI, UX, branding and copy-writing for the best user experience
*Experience in content and image management tools such as FirstSpirit and Scene7
*Experience in Demandware or other enterprise-class e-commerce store platforms
*All-round understanding of basic HTML, web, FTP, e-mail, and similar technologies
*Wider digital knowledge - other channels
