About Our Client
My client is a Top Furniture Brand in the US & Canada. It has set up its Sourcing office in shanghai for more than 12 years with stable growth and development.
The Merchandise Manager is the local sourcing arm and is responsible for executing Brand directives in their focus country. They are the primary liaison between US based team and the factories, managing seasonal developments, vendor relations and key communications. They work in conjunction with China QA and customer service teams to support Brand and factory needs.
The Successful Applicant
The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:
-8 years of practical furniture sourcing experience including 5 years of additional management responsibility ,especially in the upholstery field.
-Knowledge of overseas sourcing and product development
-Knowledge of furniture manufacturing operations
-Preferred experience working with or for a Retailer
