Digital Communication Manager

About Our Client
My client is one of the most well-known energy MNC in the world. It has both B2C and B2B operations. The company pays a lot of attention on corporate communication, especially its digital communication, to raise the brand awareness.
As a digital communication manager, you will
*Develop China's digital communications strategy, set up and manage China's social media presence.
*Ensure the timely and accurate publishing of content onto intranet, internet and social media platforms. This involves managing the content provided by various contributors and delivering the content into digital channels in a disciplined and engaging fashion.
*Seek out editorial opportunities, write, and edit compelling copy aligned with our communications priorities. Proactively identify potential issues or opportunities that could impact our communications priorities. Based on which he/she will develop plans with internal stakeholders, work with external agencies, and then deliver updates.
*Responsible for social media community management, establish a digital and social media plan for company reputation issues and operational crises. Thoughtfully, proactively managing company's reputation via social media on a daily basis, while constantly being prepared to react to operational/newsworthy issues.
*Utilize, improve, and develop effective tools and processes for planning, delivering, and measuring digital media content. Use analytics to evaluate effectiveness of communications efforts and recommend strategies for improvement. Leverage data-driven insights to guide our digital communications strategy.
*Develop seamless, aligned relationships with all internal and external communication stakeholders to deliver on expectations in terms of activity, budget benchmarks and common operating processes such as planning and measurement.
*Work to not just stay current, but ahead of the curve in digital communications trends and incorporate progressive approaches to ensure company's communications program is reaching target audiences
*Follow editorial, brand, and web style, standards and formats. Use, develop and improve resources to ensure compliance.
*Advise senior leaders and others (inside and outside the organization) on the importance and impact of digital communications and social media.
The Successful Applicant
A qualified digital communication manager need:
*Professional communications track record in a large organization and evidence of designing and implementing communication strategies and tactical plans using a number of tools and technology solutions.
*Demonstrated expert knowledge of wide range of current, cutting edge digital and social media communications platforms and techniques, with proven experience incorporating these into strategic campaigns.
*Enthusiasm for digital communications and the current digital media landscape, particularly as related to best practices in publishing Wechat, Weibo, web-based news, and other new or leading-edge applicants of technology to delivery of news and associated content.
*Excellent coordination, communication, project management and networking skills; proven analytical, problem solving and budget management skills.
*Ability to turn-around a high volume of editorial work quickly and consistently. Ability to present information in a clear and compelling manner.
*Strong writing, editing and creative production experience - including long form and short form infographics, animations and videos.
*Ability to deliver digital communications on tight deadlines and within budget, prioritizing according to benefit and cost.
*Must be able to manage multiple stakeholder's interests and needs, with an ability to influence senior leadership and inspire others.
*Displays drive and determination
