About Our Client
Our client is part of a Fortune 500 company and is a leading Food product company.
Manage and lead day to day operational needs of the company's technical support, inside sales, customer service, and field service teams
Assist customers with activities involving order placement, including tracking of orders to meet promised deadlines and expedition of orders when necessary.
Provide daily management of business for existing customers to enable Regional Sales Managers to maximise time spent on new business development.
Evaluate and establish effective lead times of customer orders and communicate information to and from customer service and the division.
Schedule manufacturing operations to optimise lead/delivery times while minimising operating costs.
Identify items for stock and assist in determining adequate inventory levels. Work with manufacturing to determine appropriate staffing levels.
The Successful Applicant
Minimum 5 years of related experience
Previous experience in a service / sales environment leadership role is a plus
Proven success in leading high performing teams
Ability to execute strategies in a complex and milt-faceted environment
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
Strong interpersonal, leadership, judgement and time management skills
