About Our Client

They develop products and services that deliver a more natural approach to health, based on our expertise in vitamins, minerals, herbs and nutrients.
-Develop, implement and communicate strategic vision for the China country market
-Ensure all team members objectives are aligned to those of the organisation
-Responsibility for sales, business development and marketing strategy in conjunction with Director Asia
-Grow invoiced sales, EBIT and NPAT. Grow market share
-Management of trade spend (including rebates and P&L),China business unit expense management
-Demonstrate strong leadership & promote the values, image to all team members
-Review performance of direct reports; guide & motivate to achieve or exceed objectives
-Direct and lead team to ensure they are focused to anticipate and satisfy internal and external stakeholders' needs
-Approve the selection and training of key staff where necessary and applicable
-Establish lines of control and ensure clear job responsibilities where applicable
-Source & act on ideas from team for process & system improvements
-Ensure cross functional needs are incorporated in business/strategy action Plans
Strategise & achieve distribution of products in different channels
o Online / Ecommerce
o Offline e.g. Drugstores, HABA, Hypermarkets, Supermarkets etc.
o TV shopping
o Others e.g. Hospitals, specialised channels etc.
-Achieve excellent instore presence by implementation of customised display unit at key customers
-Identify & evaluate appropriate Route-To-Market strategies to different customer types e.g. direct, distributor, sub-distributor, wholesaler etc.
-Lead & support distributors / wholesalers to ensure excellent execution of agreed sales plans
-Develop strong retailer & wholesaler relationships that help achieve business objectives.
-Develop & maintain strong industry & government contact to facilitate market entry & awareness
-Customise portfolio for different channels and establish and direct the marketing activities for the achievement of business objectives, increased profit and market share as well as direct regulatory compliance.
-Establish and co-ordinate marketing and sales objectives, policies and programmes within the context of the overall corporate plan and, where appropriate, recommend standards and set targets and quotas.
-Establish and co-ordinate operational matters including market research, advertising, promotion, distribution, pricing and selling.
-Manage marketing implementation through the planning and running of advertising campaigns, promotional activities, product management and market analysis and research.
-Undertake analysis to determine optimal range and work closely with relevant teams in Sydney to ensure strong new product pipeline to meet market demands Integrate NPD development into full strategic launch plans to bring product to market
-Ensure all the sales and marketing activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
-Assist in setting RRP (collaborative approach), considering relativity to competitors and stage in product life cycle.
-Ensure product registration / regulatory compliance
-Monitor and review performance against budget and forecast, and instigate remedial
action to minimise adverse variances (close the gap)
-In conjunction with the Demand planning team review forecast sales and ensure integrity of assumptions
-Manage compliance with all legal, statutory and corporate requirements in conjunction with head office and manage exposure in these areas
-Follow procedures, policies and controls to assist in the achievement of marketing objectives and profit targets
-Ensure all the activities of the sales and marketing group comply with relevant Acts, legal demands and ethical standards
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate needs to have minimum 15 years sales & marketing experience, with 10 years Key Account Management Experience in FMCG, Pharmacy, or Health Food industry.
-Experience of managing instore promoter or merchandiser.
-Experience of managing distributor or wholesalers, E commerce and Cross Border E commerce etc
- Strong in trade understanding,promotional effectiveness,customer negotiation.
- Great presentation skills, Business and financial analysis skills
- Can manage Cross-functional collaboration
-Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese written and spoken
-Soft Skills: Results focus
