About Our Client
My client is a leading Australian home furnishing brand which was founded by the current owner's for bearers in 1935 and has actively grown through organic growth and strategic acquisition. They are dedicated to building and maintaining a highly skilled and robust local manufacturing capability, using locally sourced components where possible, and has an established reputation for combining leading edge innovation, expertise and world-class operating processes to produce products of the highest quality which are distributed through a comprehensive network of wholesalers and retailers.
*Participate in business strategy and plan, feedback field status and needs to ensure field execution.
*Participate in determining market potential and channel distribution development including total distribution and by channel / by door for short term and long term plan.
*Develop & review distributor strategy, propose & execute the plan accordingly.
*Prepare and propose sales plan by Channel / by door. to achieve Fiscal year plan.
*Ensure SOP execution and evaluation periodically
*Prepare and propose the business mix including promotional percentage, category mix and inventory mix.
*Make the annual and monthly sales forecast (both sell-in and sell-through)
*Make the annual and periodically resource plan and budgeting, optimise 3D resources in distributor channel.
*Ensure execution of the Marketing Program, and develop trade marketing program with Marketing Team to ensure productivity and opportunities by door be maximised.
*Proper allocation of resources, ensure that all tools provided e.g. samples, GWPs, etc. are used as directed.
*Identify risk areas in sales plan and propose corrective action to ensure targets are achieved and maximise brand's growth opportunities.
*Manage and allocate the T&E budget
*Develop and manage the sales team, and build a strong and stable field force.
*Provide support, advice and direction to the field sales force (both office and counter)
*Set up the proper organisation for the sales team.
*Review on a monthly basis each Beauty Advisor's productivity and performance vs requirement and directions. Address concerns and initiate the proper actions to improve the performance.
*Recruit, coach, supervise and motivate the sales team (both office and counter) with the objective to maintaining the agreed level of productivity while sustaining the team's stability and morale. Provide career development plan to all sales team member.
*KPI design, performance tracking and review on regular basis for both office and counter
*Build retailer relationship and maximise brand's exposure including from store magazine to light box and growth opportunities at all doors.
*Build and maintain relation ship with distributors to optimise distributor business
*Collect and analysis competitors initiatives and make the appropriate reaction accordingly
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is from the branded, premium, consumer durable brands with strong track records in Sales and distributor management. Experience in high priced consumer goods would be preferable.
*Minimum 10 years experience in a Sales/Marketing and/or Wholesale Management role;
*Working for a Premium Brand in Sales / Marketing role (preferably consumer durable);
*Sales training/education experience
*Territory/ Distributor management
*Franchise/Licence agreement management
*Developing and achieving profit centre budgets.
*Demonstrated success in leading and developing a team.
*Working remotely in autonomy
*Ability to build strong working relationships with relevant partners.
*Excellent Verbal Presentation in both Chinese and English
*Can work with customers and suppliers;
*Can work in a team environment;
*Can strategically manage key Projects;
*Training one on one to large groups
*Can develop, train and lead a team of people (simplify, delegate, supervise).
*Wants to lead a start up operation;
*Is interested in being a generalist, not just a specialist;
