About Our Client
Our client is a leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of Grounding, bonding, lightning protection and electrical rail connection solutions for commercial, industrial, utility, rail, alternative energy and telecom end user groups. We are looking for an energetic, highly-motivated and results-driven China sales manager to realize our fast business expansion. He or She responsible for leading a sales team to identify, target and build business relationships with end-users and product specifies in specific countries in the Commercial and Industrial market segment, such as Oil and Gas infrastructure, Petro chemical and Coal chemical plants, Airports and other commercial and industrial buildings and infrastructure applications related with earthling, Lightning and surge protection products. In addition he will be a leader of this market segment in China, to maintain and grow demand for products within the market focus.
* Through pro-active promotion with end-users, Design Institutes, Property owner/developers and construction companies.
* Influence end-user specifications to provide approval for Grounding, Surge Protection and Lightning Protection, emphasizing technical advantages over competitor products.
* Meets with product specifiers, demonstrates value provided by products, and provides information required to support incorporation of products in projects and markets that support end use.
* Identifies business opportunity in the Commercial and Industrial market segment in China.
* Recommends, establishes and manages distributors/sales agents.
* Establish and built teamwork approach within his respective department.
* Provides feedback on shifts in customer demands and opportunities for new products.
* Develops and executes Sales Plans consistent with market strategy for increasing demand.
The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's Degree or above in Electrical Engineering.
* Master's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration with Marketing Focus
* Eight to Ten years of sales experience in Commercial and industrial sector (this will include but not excluding Oil and Gas infrastructure, Petro chemical and Coal chemical plants, Airports etc.).
* At least 5 years of experience in managing a team of sales people, not less than 5 people in the team.
* Very good contacts and network within the Commercial and Industrial sector in China.
* Strong relationship with Design institutes and end users in the Commercial and industrial sector in China
* Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales target consistently for 7 years. Minimum annual sales value of at least 2,000,000 USD each year.
* Possess strong leadership quality; ability to work well under pressure and independently ; versatile and resourceful
* Based in Shanghai, 50% annual traveling rate.
