About Our Client
My client is a leading retail company with around 1000 employees and over 100 stores in mainland China.
*By managing payroll team members, ensures payroll processing is completed accurately and on time. As needed, prepares manual checks or runs special payrolls to meet company needs.
*Ensure proper and timely appropriate tax and social insurance deductions for all payroll transactions and employee earnings.
*Research and resolve discrepancies and complex payroll issues.
*Manages the year-end process timeline and deliverables.
*Works with HRIS to push the limits of third-party software through innovative design and delivery.
*Manage third-party payroll services relationships.
*Acts as a main contact with the payroll vendor ensuring the system is running correctly and enhancements are implemented as needed.
*Acts as a main contact for internal and external auditors to provide documented processes and data as needed.
*Manage and ensure proper payroll reports are generated each pay period, month and quarter.
*Acts as liaison between Finance/Accounting and HR for payroll related issues.
The Successful Applicant
*At least 3-5 years payroll management experience.
*7-10 years experience with a payroll function.
*Knowledge of PeopleSoft and ADP is preferred
