About Our Client
My client is a leading high-tech company. By creating innovative, inspiring products and online services that harness the power of new technologies to make people more aware of their everyday activities and motivate them to do more.
*A strong member of the global HR team, participating in helping to build a supportive international HR function, while interacting in a collaborative way with your colleagues in the US, APAC and EMEA.
*Integrates into the business unit providing business partner consultation to the leadership and management teams in the area of operational people management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, team development, building and sustaining a culture which inspires, motivates employees and achieves business results.
*Acts as a single point of the contact for the employees and managers in our GCR locations (also incl. Taiwan, Hong Kong).
*Successfully operates as an HR consultant to the business groups becoming part of their teams, while having the ability to develop, manage and implement HR programs and day to day work.
*Partners, supports and leads (where assigned) in developing and delivering HR strategies and programs to client group(s), including employee engagement, assimilation, staffing, compensation, performance management and training. Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implement changes necessary to cover risks
*Facilitates the management team to bring best solutions for employees
*Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in people management
*Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes
*Understands the dynamics of the functions and drives HR practices and programs to create an effective organization.
*Practices balanced HR decision-making in managing business problems and challenges, recognizes and effectively balances the client group's interests with the needs of the company.
*Interprets and applies corporate policies, HR practices and standards.
*Systems savvy in managing, extracting and analyzing data and/or understanding where to extract information
*Monitors regulatory changes and addresses improper actions to minimize company risk
*Coaches managers and helps them to be effective leaders and great coaches for their employees.
*Provides business partner consulting to employees while assisting in developing strong team skills and individual development.
*Assisting to design, edit and facilitate developmental and programmatic training as needed
*Administer leaves for client groups in compliance with regional requirements
*Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes
*Builds a strong business relationship with internal clients
*Other duties as assigned
The Successful Applicant
*Minimum of 8 years of HR generalist experience in both small and large companies ideally in a fast-paced environment
*A hands-on learner with natural initiative and curiosity
*Possesses a high level of flexibility and adaptability
*Excellent working knowledge of benefits, compensation, employee relations, performance management, and compliance
*Proven success supporting similar growth business in China like high-tech or consumer durables
*BA in HR or Business Management or related field or equivalent work experience. Masters welcomed.
*Polished written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in Mandarin and English will be essential for success.
