Business Planning Manager
- Lead team of over 10 people of both SOM and planner

About Our Client
Our client is a famous retailer, they have 7 international kids brands and over 100 stores in China
Strategy & Innovation
Partner with Kids management on Key Strategic initiatives to achieve Financial Targets.
Participate in development of new methodologies, as needed, to improve planning process and results
Manage Forecast process to monitor business across all products and Customers for the division.
Operations & Results
Translate Group top down financial goals into merchandise and Customer plans for each team business.
Set sales targets for the Division based on targets set by Kids BU management.
Work with Sales to budget discounts to achieve EVP targets.
Perform historical sales analysis to support seasonal hindsight process
Support Sales team in seasonal line planning process (breadth, depth, etc)
Manage in season forecast process for division partner with Finance, Sales, and Product Management. Complete risk and opportunity analysis.
Provide analysis and guidance to roduct Managers for setting adoption ratios and managing sampling expense
Manage and control Division margin support
Manage and control inventory levels, identify risks and opportunities
Manage Standard reporting and Analysis for the Division. Provide risk and opportunity analysis to all cross functional teams
Responsible to achieve Net sales and EVP targets
Responsible to achieve project management goals
Customers & Relationships
Collaborate with peers and planners to ensure consistency of processes and the sharing of best practices
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional partners - strategic sourcing team, Sales, Division Presidents, Planners and Product Managers
Leadership & Teams
Lead Planning Teams. Insure high performance standards thru Coaching, training, and development. Perform ongoing talent assessments.
The Successful Applicant
*Strong Analytical and Business acumen
*Flexible, ability to manage changing priorities
*Proficient in Microsoft Office
*Experienced with Planning and Merchandising applications
*Collaborative ability to lead and motivate team
*Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills
*5-10 years' experience in planning and merchandising
