About Our Client
My client is a leading manufacturer sites in more than 20 counties and research and development centers globally.
This is a private held company that has over 2500 employers and their products are full range of additives.
Their success rests on their ability to partner with their suppliers and customers and help them to bring products to market quickly.
With the rapid growth of the Asia market, my client has expanded very quickly in this region especially greater China.
They had set up two major offices in both shanghai and HK
*Develop short and medium term strategic & marketing plan with clearly defined related strategies and supporting initiatives to grow company position and meet sales goals.
*Guide and direct Market Managers, Major Account Managers for effective & timely execution of plan with proper coordination and communication for setting background and objectives deployed internally with all relevant parties for execution of strategy.
*Implement Master plans with local sales, Review, Correct business results In some segments, this department are directly responsible for identifying, capturing, monitoring, developing and managing specified businesses which has been identified by the company as a valuable & strategic growth channel requiring specific dedication for medium terms project management before turning to recurrent sales.
*Evaluate customer needs and company capabilities .Identify requirements and recommend changes necessary to better service the customer/market.
*Establish strategic pricing, propose and coordinate R & D activities for new product developments and direct the commercial activities & technical recommendations.
*Lead and negotiate major contracts
*Drive innovation, new developments and value added services to this market.
*Strong understanding of customer products and process capabilities to allow value-added selling
*Develop and manage marketing campaigns for promoting company & product visibility, directly or indirectly
*Maintain the database of the key customer defining personnel; markets; resources and their strategic initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
* Experienced with Polymers, Additives and deep understanding of the Plastic processing market and customers in G. China is necessary in order to be able to understand our customers' strategy and to identify the matching key factors that company can offer to design the business entry strategy.
*Experience in Strategy development, Business Management, Account Management, Business development or Marketing Area, Sales Management
*Experience in managing and conducting business nationwide or in the region.
*Demonstrated proficiency with developing and implementing marketing and sales plans
*Experience & knowledge in Pigment, Adhesive, Polymer area, plastic processing or engineering resin & all round experience and knowledge of China Plastic/Packaging film market
*Experience in International company would be advantage & proven record and experience of building business in China would be plus
