About Our Client
Our client is a leading and major player in the FMCG sector, which has been ranked as the best employer multiple times.
*Accountable for defining and implementing global BW/BWA roadmap, also accountable for defining BI standards for development and running quality assurance check to governance.
*Focused on a specific technical area and roadmap to provide the development and service team with deep technical knowledge and expertise and ensure system and data availability for new development.
*Closely work with business leader and functional business partners in Asia to identify and define how to improve business performance through the application of technology, optimization of information flow and business process, and usage of resource.
*Support business partner to create clear outcomes and project scope approach, determine and recommends concept as a project or enhancement, collaborate with capability manager and infrastructures to transfer defined and approved project/enhancement work for delivery.
*Ensure the implementation of project/enhancement work is in alignment with global/regional standard, and collaborate with counterparts to minimise redundancy and overlaps.
*Monitor the progress of project/enhancement work through the delivery phase, working with internal and external team to achieve the target.
*Collaborate with other application service teams to provide visibility on project/enhancement work progress and status to functional leader and account manager.
*Participates in the benefit evaluation process of the delivered solution (i.e. is the stated purpose fulfilled, does the solution meet the business needs).
The Successful Applicant
*Broad understanding of industry and expert level proficiency in business intelligence technologies such as SAP BW (Query and backend), QlikView, Business Objects, Oracle data warehouse technologies, etc, and proven experience in enterprise system architecture.
*Able to evaluate technology and process alternatives.
*Able to keep abreast with new technology trend in IT industry.
*Strong business acumen, able to understand business goal and translate them to defined technology metrics, as well as establish methodology to meet these objectives.
*Must be customer focused with demonstrated ability to form productive relationship with a wide constituency, including business leaders, IT personnel and project leaders.
*Strong problem analysis and influencing skills.
*Excellent written and verbal skill as well as high interpersonal skills.
*Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Business/Management Information Systems preferred.
