The position reports to the World Wide Sales Manager Automotive with a dotted-line to the China General Sales Manager.
The incumbent shall create, develop and maintain long-term relationships with the Engineering and Purchasing departments of automotive clients in China, understanding their needs in the areas of LEM's electronic and mechanical expertise and identify and conquer new business opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
Skills and Professional background:
*Engineering degree in mechanical and/or electronics.
*Minimum 5 to 10 years' management experience of a Sales team in China's automotive Tier1 suppliers.
*Knowledge of mechatronics and/or electronic sensors will be a plus.
*Willing to travel frequently within China, and regularly to Switzerland.
*Good judgement and business skills.
*Native Chinese speaker fluent in English, French a plus.
*International mindset and intercultural experience.
*Autonomous, proactive problem solver motivated by bottom line results, profitability and challenges.
*Excellent communicator with good project management skills.
